Wherever we travel we look for the treasures, the specialties specific to the area we are exploring. We recently needed some down time so I searched the internet and found this wonderful getaway an hour and a half from home. It is convenient, fresh and clean, with superior service and amenities. The breakfasts and sweet treats are perfect. Marlene and Andy are charming hosts who make the stay relaxing and restorative. The local cheese farm and herb farm were delightful additions to our adventure. We were so delighted by our find that we organized a dinner party and served a selection of the cheeses as part of our meal. We brought treats home for friends and shared our experiences so that they too could enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway. We will go back in the fall. Louise & Len

We frequently stay at B&B's after a hike. This is one of the best we've had the pleasure to stay at. The homemade pie was soooo good, breakfast was excellent, the hottub was perfect after a hike and the setting was great. Nothing like a short drive from home and feeling miles away at the same time.We felt welcomed and enjoyed our privacy at the same time. We highly recommend this to our fellow hikers.

Well what can I say. We really needed to get away, but not too far from a busy business, and what a beautiful setting. You're surrounded by protective mountains, open fields, beautiful country roads for cycling, running, walking etc.,Harrison just down the road, and the owners? Wow......fabulous! I am a seasoned B&B user, and this was just unbelievable. High vaulted ceilings, completely private, ohhhh the hot tub, the panoramic view through the carefully placed windows. A lot of thought went into this B&B and when you meet the owners you will be able to see why. This is on my list of many more visits, as I cycle the route to Harrison many times during the year. So all you cyclists out there, there's a great place to stay away from all the cars!!!!!!!!!. You just have to try it. Did I forget the very large piece of pie with fresh whipping cream? Didn't want to leave that out!

This was my very first time ever staying at a Bed & Breakfast and from the moment of our arrival this wonderful experience far exceeded any I have ever had in travels around the world. You cannot imagine the beauty of the surrounding area; the absolute ambiance of the home, and the hospitality of Marlene and Andy that made this a trip I will never forget. The view from our room was spectacular, the bed was so comfortable and there was a fantastic sitting room just up the stairs with couches, a fireplace and breathtaking view of the local valley and mountains. We were greeted with homemade cookies and then were privileged to have a piece of the best homemade pie I have ever eaten (sorry Mom, but this was the best!) The décor was perfect and the room was spacious and oozed of warmth and respect from the hosts to their guests. You could tell that every detail of this ambiance was thought through and there was no sparing of expense of quality and comfort. Right outside our room was a great hot tub where we were able to relax in the evening and the hiking, biking possibilities in the area are endless. The breakfast was served in the sitting room and you could not get a better more filling breakfast anywhere! The hosts made you feel as if you were one the family and shared as much of their time as you wished but also gave you the space and respect as needed. I would recommend this to anyone visiting British Columbia!

I had the pleasure of staying at the B&B last night with friends of ours and what an amazing time we had! The rooms were exceptional (with Satellite TV!), the sitting area was warm and cozy, the hot tub was perfect even if it was raining, and what can I say about Marlene and Andy? I can't think of better hosts to have complemented our stay the way they did with their generous hospitality and consideration to our needs. To top it all off, we were met with homemade cookies in our room and the best-ever piece of homemade pie for afternoon coffee. You've spoiled it for me - I doubt I will ever have such an experience anywhere else. Thanks Andy and Marlene!
